baby stepping.
When I started designing the logo for this blog I knew that I wanted to think of a fun way to play off of the letters J and P. I started with a flamingo because it has the characteristic long neck and legs to form the shapes I wanted. I felt like my logo could be stronger though if I went with an animal that had a more distinctive print so I gravitated towards a giraffe.
Right now I find myself liking my sketches more than what I have come up with, but at least now I have something I can critique and revise.
